Role of the CPG

When the final community plan is endorsed by the community and ready for implementation, the role of the Community Planning Group (CPG) is to:
  • be the caretaker of the community plan
  • maintain a broad community focus
  • link people together
  • create partnerships; and
  • provide support for the projects in the plan.

About the CPG

The CPG is a team of local volunteers with wide-ranging interests and experiences.

The current aim for the CPG is to work with the Macedon/Mt. Macedon community to capture the best, most acheivable ideas wanted by the community to complete a final community plan.

The ongoing role of the CPG is to keep the plan, and the projects in it, moving. It is also to keep the Macedon/Mt. Macedon community informed and involved.

Working in partnership with you

The CPG will seek to work with other, already established groups (e.g. the progress association or recreation reserve committee) to assist with the development of projects, where relevant.
